You can. Keel HQ packages the product, integrations and operating workflow we use ourselves. If you want to build and maintain that stack yourself, that is a valid choice.

Keel HQ supports separate DTC and B2B Shopify storefronts in one workspace. It does not currently offer a general multi-store rollup for unrelated Shopify stores.

No. Every plan includes every feature. The plan limit is a trailing three-month average of Shopify order volume, so one busy month does not move you up a tier.

A card is required to start the trial. If direct signup is available to your workspace, billing begins only after the 14-day free trial, card required ends. Private-beta access is arranged one brand at a time.

Uninstalling from Shopify starts a deletion request 48 hours later. Keel HQ deletes Shopify orders, customers, inventory and sales snapshots within 30 days of that request. Historical derived reports stay until you ask us to delete them. Read the privacy policy for the full retention details.

Keel HQ connects Shopify for products, orders, inventory, COGS and payouts; Klaviyo for email campaigns and flows; Postscript for SMS subscribers; ShipStation for shipping analytics; and Mercury for banking. Meta Ads is in private beta while Meta verifies our app.

No. Keel HQ reads data from the tools you already use and puts the operating numbers together in one place. You continue to run orders in Shopify, email in Klaviyo and ads in Meta.

The Shopify app requests read scopes for orders, products, inventory, customers, returns, fulfillments, locations and Shopify Payments payouts. Keel HQ does not request a Shopify write scope.

Shopify imports the full order history available through its read_all_orders scope. On first connection, Klaviyo backfills 13 months, ShipStation backfills 90 days and Google Ads backfills 180 days. The exact available history also depends on each provider.

Keel HQ does not currently provide one general workspace export. Your source data remains in the systems that supply it, such as Shopify, Klaviyo and Mercury. If you need Keel HQ data removed, contact support.

The current public terms cover the marketing site and waitlist, not a separate data-ownership clause. The Privacy Policy explains what Keel HQ processes and the deletion request available after a Shopify uninstall. Contact support with a data request.

No app-supplied AI request includes Shopify customer email addresses, names or addresses. Free-text prompts are sent to the AI provider verbatim, so do not paste customer PII into a chat message.

Keel HQ keeps data while your account is active. After a Shopify uninstall, the deletion and retention timing is described in the privacy policy.

Yes. Keel HQ has a read-only MCP server. An admin creates a token in Settings, then connects an MCP client such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor. Tool results include each source's last-sync time so the client can identify stale data.

Yes. AI features run on your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, and you pay that provider directly. A workspace selects one provider at a time in Settings.

Nothing. MCP and API tokens are read-only and scoped to one organization. You can disconnect a token at any time in Settings.

No. Shopify App Store organizations use Shopify billing, while direct organizations use direct billing. The two paths are kept separate so a workspace is not charged by both.

Yes. Invite teammates as Admin, Member or Viewer. Admins can manage workspace-level settings. Members and viewers can be limited to the modules they run.

Cost data follows module access. Give a teammate access only to the modules they need, and keep workspace-level integration and AI settings with admins.

Only admins can change the workspace AI provider and key or rename Shopify storefronts. Members can manage the integrations that their role permits, while viewers are read-only.
