Reorder on time, without starving cash.

Keel HQ reads stock across every Shopify location, works out how fast each SKU sells, and tells you what to reorder and by when. It uses your suppliers' real lead times, minimums and terms, then checks the order against your cash.

What do I reorder, and when?

Each SKU gets a reorder point: how fast it sells, times your supplier's lead time plus a safety buffer. Keel HQ shows how many days until you hit it and the date to order by, so the list of what to buy is sorted by urgency.

  • Reorder point is daily sales velocity times lead time plus safety days.
  • Override any SKU with a fixed reorder point when you know better.
  • Stock is counted across every Shopify location.

What is selling, and what is sitting?

Sell-through per SKU shows what moves and what does not, with an A, B or C class so the products that carry your revenue get the attention. Low-stock and dead-stock alerts flag the two ends before they cost you.

  • Sell-through for every SKU, so slow movers are easy to spot.
  • ABC classes rank products by what they contribute.
  • Alerts for low stock and for stock that has stopped moving.

Does the order fit my cash?

Suppliers carry lead time, minimum order quantity and payment terms, and purchase orders carry them forward. The PO you plan on the inventory side shows up in the 14-week cash forecast on its payment dates, so you see the cash cost before you place it.

  • Suppliers store lead time, MOQ and terms once.
  • A PO's payment schedule feeds the cash forecast.
  • Plan the order once; stock and cash both read it.

What the planning reads

Reorder dates come from your own sales and your own suppliers' terms.

Shopify
Products, variants, sales history and stock at every location.
Your suppliers
Lead time, minimum order quantity and payment terms, entered once per supplier.
Purchase orders
What is on order, what it costs and when you pay for it.
Cash forecast
Your 14-week cash position, to check an order against before you place it.

Where it stops · Reorder points use trailing sales velocity, not a statistical demand forecast. Supplier and PO data is entered in Keel HQ; there is no import from other inventory tools yet.

Questions about inventory in Keel HQ

How does Keel HQ calculate a reorder point?

Reorder point is how many units the SKU sells per day, multiplied by your supplier's lead time plus the safety days you set. It is a straightforward calculation from your own sales, not a machine-learning forecast, and you can override it with a fixed number for any SKU.

Does it work with more than one warehouse or location?

Yes. Keel HQ counts stock at every Shopify location and keeps the per-location quantities, so a SKU split between two places is not read as short.

Can I track supplier lead times, minimums and terms?

Yes. Each supplier stores its lead time, minimum order quantity and payment terms, and the reorder dates and purchase orders use them.

Can I plan a purchase order and see the cash impact?

Yes. A purchase order carries its payment schedule into the 14-week cash forecast, and the buy-plan preview shows your lowest cash week with the order in.

Can I import my suppliers and purchase orders from another tool?

Not yet. Suppliers and purchase orders are entered in Keel HQ today.
