How long is my runway?
Ask about your cash position, runway, the forecast or stock in plain words. The answer is drawn from the numbers in Keel HQ, and past chats stay in the history so you can pick one up where you left off.

Can I ask from Claude or Cursor?
An admin creates a token in Settings and connects Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor. The access is read-only, and each answer carries when every source last synced, so your assistant can flag stale data instead of guessing.

What is it costing me?
Every AI call is logged with its tokens and cost. Set a monthly cap on the AI features you run and they stop at the limit, so a curious afternoon does not become a surprise bill.

Questions about the helm in Keel HQ
Is the MCP access read-only?
Yes. A token lets Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor read your Keel HQ data and nothing else. An admin creates the token in Settings.
Whose AI key does it use?
Yours. The Helm runs on your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, so you pay the provider directly, and you can set a monthly cap on usage.
Can it change my data?
No. It answers questions and explains numbers. It does not edit purchase orders, balances or settings.
Will it make up numbers?
It answers from the data in your workspace and each MCP result says when its sources last synced. If a figure is stale or missing it should say so rather than invent one.
Who can use it?
Anyone you invite, limited to the modules their role allows. An admin creates the MCP token in Settings.
